Dear Aliyah's Company,
ReplyDeleteToday is the morning of your trip. You wake up and smile and say, "We're going to Maryland, Yeah!" We get ready quickly and head out of the door. You are such a big girl as you help to carry your bags out to the car. At the airport we check in and say goodbye to your dad. We have to go through the security check in twice because the machine beeped as I walked through it. Finally, we arrive at the gate and wait until it is time to board the plane. On the plane you ask me if you have ever flown before? I answer, "yes, you flew to Maryland when you were 6 months old and 4 years old. It has been 4 years since you have traveled in an airplane. We both look at each other and smile as the airplane's engines roar and we feel and see the plane slant at an angle as it goes up, up and away!
